Comunicado de prensa / Press Release:   Inadmisión sin Justicia - El Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos no conocerá la causa Canales Bermejo c. España

RIS El Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos (TEDH) ha cerrado, una vez m ás y parece que de forma definitiva, las puertas de la justicia a las v íctimas de desapariciones forzadas perpetradas durante la Guerra Civil y el franquismo. As í lo indica su decisi ón de declarar inadmisible, sin lugar a ning ún reclamo y sin justificaci ón concreta alguna, la demanda presentada por Rights International Spain (RIS) en nombre de Fausto Canales Bermejo. RIS lamenta profundamente esta decisi ón. The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has closed, once again and it would seem definitively, the doors of justice to victims of enforced disappearances perpetrated under the Franco regime and during the Civil War. Such is the impact of the decision declaring inadmissible, without possibility for appeal or any concrete justification, the complaint submitted by Rights International Spain (RIS) in the name of Fausto Canales Bermejo (the victim). RIS profoundly regrets this decision.
